Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Industrial Cleaning Operator to remove industrial waste at customer facilities using equipment such as vacuum trucks and high-pressure water equipment. When not on site, you will load/off-load trucks at the facility and assist with waste bulking, receiving, and transferring.

The role requires operating various cleaning equipment, responding to emergencies, and performing DOT inspections and logs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER Training upon hire.
• Ability to operate light and heavy equipment used in clean-up.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in performing duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate tanker, roll-off, vacuums, box trucks, and sewer cleaners.
• Respond to customer spills and emergencies.
• Perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs.
• Keep equipment and site clean and well-maintained.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
