Job summary

U.S. Sugar is seeking a diligent team member to maintain cleanliness within Milling operations on rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

You will work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring safety and efficiency in daily tasks and supporting Milling personnel as needed. The role requires ability to pass pre-employment screenings, a drug test, and a pulmonary function test, with forklift certification within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English to understand instructions and communicate safely.
• Must pass drug test and background screening.
• Forklift certification within 30 days of employment.
• Able to pass pulmonary function test.

Responsibilities

• Clean, move, and transport garbage, liquids, and materials using hand and power tools.
• Operate forklift, man-lift, and other equipment as needed.
• Follow all policies and regulations related to health, safety, and operations.
• Complete training, safety classes, and pre-shift meetings.
• Work safely in varying conditions and temperatures.
