Industrial Cleaner (Get a workout while you work!)

Location: Decatur, IL, United States of America

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr (Paid weekly)

Job Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40hrs/week

• 1st Shift: 6AM-2:30PM
• This schedule can fluctuate and OT is available!

Overview

LACOSTA is looking for an Industrial Cleaner to join our team in Decatur, IL!

We conduct a background check and drug testing.

Job Duties

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning general areas of an Industrial Plant
• Cleaning food processing products
• Cleaning up water and general day-to-day spills or messes
• Cleaning floors, ceiling areas, walls, piping, and more
• Using high-pressure power washers, brooms, shovels, and fork trucks

Physical Requirements

This position requires intensive labor, including:

• Lifting up to 40lbs
• Walking
• Climbing multiple stairs
• Dealing with weather changes (cold, hot), noise, dust, rodents, insects, and unpleasant smells

Requirements

• Pass background checks and drug screening
• This position requires a VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and OSHA Certification is a plus
• Physical requirements: a lot of walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 40lbs independently
• Wear LACOSTA shirt, hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots/shoes, safety vest, and long pants
• Remove all jewelry and accessories
