Job summary

Vonachen Group is seeking an Industrial Cleaner to keep our facility safe, clean and productive. This role supports production by performing specialized cleaning, recycling, and materials-handling duties across the plant.

You'll operate floor scrubbers and other equipment, handle waste and recycling, and assist with mixing areas. Full-time positions on 1st or 2nd shift, $20 per hour, with medical, dental, vision, life, LTD, STD, 401(k) benefits, and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ with reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuums to clean production floors.
• Handle waste collection, transport, and recycling per plant protocols.
• Operate baler and compactor for cardboard, plastics recycling.
• Assist with mixing areas and safe handling of raw materials.
• Perform environmental tasks including spill response and chemical handling.
• Conduct equipment checks and basic maintenance; report issues.
• Maintain housekeeping in production and warehouse areas.
• Support additional plant operations and safety initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Skills / Requirements

The Industrial Cleaner plays a vital role in keeping our facility safe, clean, and operating efficiently. This position supports production by performing specialized cleaning, recycling, and materials-handling duties across the facility. Industrial Cleaners work with a variety of equipment and processes—from floor scrubbers to mixing support—and are essential to creating a safe, sustainable, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuums to maintain clean and safe production floors
• Handle collection, transport, and disposal of waste and recyclable materials following plant protocols
• Operate baler and compactor equipment for recycling cardboard, plastics, and other materials
• Assist with mixing support by cleaning mixing areas and safely handling raw materials as needed
• Perform environmental tasks, including spill response, chemical handling support, and maintaining compliance with environmental standards
• Conduct equipment checks, basic maintenance, and report issues promptly
• Maintain housekeeping standards throughout production and warehouse areas
• Support additional plant operations and safety initiatives as directed
• Completing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be 18 years or older with reliable transportation
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to safety and ability to wear required PPE
• Good communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Previous experience with industrial cleaning equipment or powered vehicles (forklift, baler, scrubber) preferred, but training provided

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Frequent bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Work in hot/cold environments and around industrial equipment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed

• Full-Time 1st Shift and 2nd Shift
• 1st Shift Sunday-Tuesday 7am-7pm or Wednesday-Saturday 7am-5pm
• 2nd Shift Sunday-Tuesday 7pm-7am or Wednesday- Saturday 7pm-5am
• $20/hour
