Job summary

Clean-Tech is seeking General Cleaners to join our team across 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts and weekends in Columbus, MS. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining facility cleanliness, performing floor care duties, restocking supplies, and following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates are team-focused, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. High school diploma is preferred but not required, and background checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, and clean assigned areas to maintain daily cleanliness.

• Perform other custodial tasks as directed by supervisor; uphold safety standards.

Job Skills / Requirements

Account will start 9/7/26.

Hiring for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Shift and Weekends.

Must be willing to learn Floor Care (Buffing/ Stripping/ Waxing).

Must have Steel Toe Boots/ Shoes.

General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. General Cleaners perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facility.

Essential Functions:

Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, extracting carpet, stripping and waxing floors, removing trash, recycling, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms, polishing outside area within 10 feet of entryways, washing windows, removal or snow and ice, cleaning of desks/walls/ furniture/ doors/ entry glass/ interior glass/counter tops/chalkboards/ whiteboards/blinds and light fixtures, and any other duties as directed by custodial supervisor or his/her designated representative.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High school degree preferred, but not required.
