Job summary

Taurus Industrial Group is seeking an Industrial Carpenter to perform skilled carpentry in active industrial facilities in Baton Rouge. You will construct, install, repair, and dismantle concrete forms, platforms, and wood components according to project drawings and work instructions.

The role requires reading drawings, using hand and power tools, and adhering to Taurus safety standards. This position supports construction, maintenance, and modification activities on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of carpentry experience in industrial settings preferred.
• Experience with concrete forms, formwork, and wood components preferred.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial carpentry work to support construction, maintenance, and repair projects.
• Construct, install, modify, repair, and dismantle concrete forms for foundations and slabs.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install lumber and form materials per drawings and instructions.
• Safely operate hand tools and portable power tools.
• Follow safety procedures and site requirements; participate in toolbox talks and JSAs/JHAs.
