Responsibilities

• Assist Craft Journeyman in assembly, installation, testing and maintenance of equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Assist in diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components with test equipment and hand tools.
• Gathers tools and supplies to be used at the work site according to the instructions.
• Measures, cuts and bends wire and conduit using a ruler and hand tools.
• Trace out short circuits in wiring using knowledge of wiring and test meter.
• May lift, position or fasten objects and perform minor repairs.
