Job summary

GROUP Contractors in Louisiana is seeking an Industrial Laborer to support multiple construction projects. You will assist with loading, unloading, site housekeeping, and helping skilled tradespeople set up forms for concrete pours, while using and maintaining tools.

This full-time, outdoor role requires physical stamina, compliance with safety rules (TWIC, OSHA Basic Plus), and flexibility for travel to various job sites. Some evenings or weekends may be required depending on job duties.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid TWIC Card.
• Must hold a valid OSHA Basic Plus certification.
• Must pass Safety Council related courses.
• Must undergo pre-employment screening (physical, drug & alcohol, audiogram, fit test if applicable).
• Must hold a valid Driver’s License to operate company equipment and/or vehicles.

Responsibilities

• punctual arrival at construction site to commence work.
• loading and unloading of construction equipment and material.
• general housekeeping of project sites.
• assist skilled trades to set up forms where concrete is poured.
• perform hard labor to complete the construction project.
• assist with installing various commercial and industrial systems as needed.
• use, clean, and maintain tools on site.
• handle hoists and other equipment for lifting materials.
• work at heights and in confined spaces.
• perform awkward and repetitive manual tasks.
• assist Project Superintendent with light administrative duties.
