Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a skilled Civil Carpenter for on-site work in the United States. You will read blueprints, interpret construction plans, and assemble structures using wood, plywood, and wallboard with hand and power tools.

The role requires 3–5 years of Journeyman experience, NCCER Carpenter credentials, and TWIC/State ID. Responsibilities include laying out projects from specs, cutting materials to size, following safety rules, erecting forms, and performing general site cleanup.

Qualifications

• No minimum education requirements.
• 3–5 years of Journeyman level experience.
• NCCER Carpenter certification, TWIC Card and Valid State ID.

Responsibilities

• Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Erect and destruct concrete forms, scaffolding and ramps above ground level.
• Replace doors, walls and build stairs as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
