Job summary

Barge Design Solutions is seeking a Civil Engineer focused on large industrial campus design. The role supports multiple offices and involves designing underground utilities, grading, and drainage.

You will use AutoCAD Civil 3D to model infrastructure, prepare reports, plans, and permits, and participate in client discussions and multi-discipline meetings. A PE path via EI and 2+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Engineer Intern (EI) registration with ability to obtain PE within 24 months.
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience.
• Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D for surface creation and underground utility modeling preferred.
• Grading and utility design experience with plan & profile design of storm/water/sewer lines; power/communication duct bank design experience is a plus for some of the team roles.
• Ability to work as part of a fast-paced high-achieving team relying on each member's individual delivery for success.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job-related manuals and documents Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Design complex campus underground utility, grading, and drainage infrastructure for, large industrial campus including the preparation of reports, specifications, plans, and permits
• Use AutoCAD Civil3D to design and model underground utility infrastructure and topographic surfaces
• Participate in client conversations and multi-discipline design meetings
• Analyze data, existing site information, and entitlements to assist Mission Critical clients with site selection
