Job summary

Barge Design Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer to assist with the development and design of engineering documents and related project tasks. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, 2+ years of engineering experience, and EI/EIT certification.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, plans, permits, and designs; client communication; and site visits. Proficiency in Civil 3D, Excel, and Word is preferred, with strong teamwork and time management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience.
• Engineer Intern (EI) / Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required.
• Experience with civil site design and related software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, permits, and engineering designs for projects.
• Assists with client communication and attends client meetings as needed.
• Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, and test data to support project planning and design.
• Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering documents.
• Accompanies Engineers on site visits as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
