Cleaver-Brooks Sales & Service (CBSS) in Missouri is seeking a skilled Boiler/Welder to deliver planned and emergency service on watertube and firetube boiler systems. You will lead welding work to ASME code standards and support combustion tuning and controls, with opportunities to expand mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be willing to overnight for longer projects, and possess or pass an ASME 6G weld test.
Note: Pay figures you may see on some job boards are estimates and may not reflect our compensation approach.
Start your morning by reviewing the service schedule for watertube, firetube, and auxiliary boiler equipment. Some days you’ll head straight from home to the jobsite; other days you’ll check in with our Fenton, MO office (relocation assistance is available for non-local hires). You’ll lead code and non-code welding work, jump into planned maintenance, and respond to the unexpected—supporting emergency repairs when customers need us most.
Between tasks, you’ll expand your skill set in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and assist with combustion tuning and controls. Safe driving is part of every day, with local travel common and overnight trips expected when projects get complex.
We’re a leader in fully integrated boiler and burner solutions—new equipment, installations, rentals, retrofits, repairs, parts, and service. Our team delivers, installs, and modernizes boiler room systems to boost efficiency, lower costs, and optimize space. We pride ourselves on solutions that are efficient, reliable, safe, and environmentally responsible—and we operate with a 24/7 customer-first mindset.
