Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in boiler operation or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read gauges, meters, and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Flexible schedules including overtime or weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers, kilns, and related systems to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Perform routine inspections of boiler equipment, pumps, valves, motors, and piping systems.
• Monitor gauges, controls, and instrumentation to ensure systems are operating within established parameters.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs on boiler and utility equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and communicate concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate operational logs and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety procedures and environmental regulations.
• Assist with fuel handling and material movement as needed.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in boiler and utility areas.
