Responsibilities

• Set up, prepare, tend and/or operate multiple process machines and materials for production runs.
• Monitor equipment and controls to maintain specified heat, pressure, tension, and speed.
• Read orders, prioritize tasks and calculate material requirements to maximize yields and minimize waste.
• Record production information and communicate issues to supervisor.
• Train junior associates in safety procedures and quality standards.
• Cover shift or unit supervisor responsibilities as needed.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and training.
