Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 6 months blending experience
• Forklift certification required
• Able to read and interpret SDS
• Able to read and process an order quickly
• Knowledge of quality policy and objectives
• Experience handling bulk tanker trucks, railcars, ISO containers and/or blending environment
• Good math, reading, and language skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work with others
• Ability to follow instructions
• Knowledge of PPE requirements
• Basic computer skills may be required
• Read tape measures for tank gauging purposes

Responsibilities

• Understand nitrogen blanketing, purging, and drying processes.
• Learn sampling procedures for railcars, trucks, and tanks.
• Perform proper hose handling, cleaning, and storage.
• Apply steam to railcars, trucks, tanks, and pumps safely.
• Document final blends with date, time, blender name, components, location, weight, and operator.
• Maintain daily communication with supervisor regarding equipment or operations.
• Ensure tracks are clear and assist on switches.
• Pull samples for lab analysis and ensure proper seals for loaded railcars.
• Follow loading procedures for bulk trucks and complete AX Dynamics entries.
• Complete transloading operations per work order and verify hose connections.
• Follow safety rules and PPE requirements and maintain a productive, safe work environment.
• Report machinery issues to management or maintenance.
• Exhibit the Third Coast Way behaviors.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by Supervisor/Lead.
