Job summary

BOS Innovations is seeking a Controls & Vision Engineer to design, develop, and commission integrated automation systems for industrial manufacturers. You will work across PLC, robotics, and vision technologies to deliver high-performance automation solutions on TrueLight projects.

Location options include Texas and Michigan with full-time employment and competitive rewards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop safety PLCs, and support onsite commissioning to ensure system

Qualifications

2+ years hands-on PLC/robot programming in industrial automation.
Strong understanding of controls systems, I/O, and communications.
Hands-on experience with system commissioning and troubleshooting.
Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Develop PLC and HMI programs aligned with system requirements and customer specifications.
Program and integrate industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa) for material handling, guidance, and process automation.
Integrate I/O, communications, and device interfaces across automation systems.
Troubleshoot system performance, sequencing, and machine functionality during build and commissioning.
Develop and implement safety PLC programs in accordance with applicable standards.
