Join Siemens as an Industrial Automation Sales Manager – Metals, Heavy Machinery, Water/Waste Water, and Marine.

We are seeking a dynamic leader to create and execute industry strategies for key U.S. markets, driving growth and customer satisfaction. The role requires broad experience in vertical markets, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders. This position is remote within the U.S., based near a major airport.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Marketing and Strategy Coordination: Lead research and strategy development, aligning with sales and business units.
  2. Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and monitor strategies to increase market share and growth.
  3. Market Analysis: Identify threats and opportunities, adjusting strategies accordingly.
  4. Industry Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
  5. Customer Relationship Development: Build and maintain customer relationships to understand needs and develop plans.
  6. Strategic Collaboration: Align with business leaders on strategic opportunities.
  7. Industry Representation: Represent Siemens at industry events to foster relationships.
  8. Market Share Growth: Initiate efforts to increase Siemens' presence in vertical markets.

Qualifications:

Basic:

  • 8+ years in industrial sales/marketing in Metals, Heavy Machinery, Water/Waste Water, or Marine industries.
  • 5+ years of management experience with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • 2+ years familiarity with industrial automation products and solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Metals industry.
  • Proven results in customer environments and opportunity identification.
  • Decisive, strategic thinker with problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority and navigate complex organizations.
Benefits & Compensation:
