Job summary
Standard Forged, part of FerroWorks, is seeking an Automation/Robotics Engineer in McKees Rocks, PA to design, test, and troubleshoot PLC and robotic processes in an industrial setting. You will collaborate with vendors and the maintenance team on capital projects, implement control system upgrades, and provide frontline technical support for automated manufacturing systems in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications
- 5+ years in electrical maintenance and/or robotics in industry.
- Experience with PLC programming and robotics integration.
- Ability to implement control applications and HMI graphics.
- Familiarity with reading electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, programming, implementation, and testing support for new automation projects.
- Participate in capital projects, installations, testing, and modernization.
- Provide frontline technical support and maintenance for automated systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting of control issues.
- Note: periodic on-call support for 24/7 environment.
- Update design documents, SOPs, and engineering drawings.
