Job summary

Synergy Staffing is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for industrial automation projects across manufacturing clients. You will own scope, schedule, budget, safety, and the customer relationship, delivering margins while ensuring client satisfaction.

Based at a regional operations hub with travel to customer sites for in-plant commissioning, you will lead by influence, coordinate matrix teams, and apply PMI/PMBOK discipline to keep projects on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering automation or systems integration projects end-to-end.
• Strong controls knowledge (PLCs, DCS, SCADA, HMI, MES).
• Manufacturing environment experience, ideally in regulated industries.
• PMI/PMBOK-based project management discipline with emphasis on schedules and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the project outcomes across a portfolio of automation projects.
• Manage the customer relationship and proactive communication.
• Develop and own the project schedule with timely, accurate reporting.
• Manage project economics, scope, and change orders to hit margins.
• Lead by influence, coordinating matrix teams without direct reports.
• Enforce safety requirements and ensure a safety-first culture.
