Job summary

Vitro is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join the on-site team. The role focuses on hands-on engineering, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and automation equipment to support reliable production.

You will work with engineers, technicians and contractors to reduce downtime, perform preventive maintenance, and implement improvements that boost safety, quality and efficiency on the plant floor.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience in industrial electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, automation, and robotics.
• Understand manufacturing processes, equipment parameters, preventive maintenance, root cause analysis.
• Strong troubleshooting skills; able to take initiative and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and repair support for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, automated systems including PLCs, robotics, HMIs and servo systems.
• Perform and improve preventive and predictive maintenance to increase reliability.
• Implement process and equipment modifications to improve safety, quality, uptime and cost.
• Support equipment installations, launches, trials, validations and contractor activities.
• Investigate problems and develop solutions using data analysis.
• Work with maintenance team to maximize uptime and plant performance.
