Job summary

Advanced Technology Services in Lafayette, IN, is seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on factory equipment.

The role requires an Associate degree with a technical focus or equivalent experience, strong knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems, and proficiency with CMMS. Travel may be required; a strong commitment to safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Independently perform maintenance per industry standards.
• Troubleshoot control systems to resolve software and hardware issues.
• Provide assistance to lower level technicians and lead small teams.
