Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer to oversee projects and support equipment implementation in the plant. You will work with engineering and automation teams from design to handoff, becoming the resident expert on new equipment and training others.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance of heavy automation, debugging PLCs, and driving process improvements, safety, and quality with cross-functional teams.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in automotive/manufacturing maintenance (stamping, injection molding, welding, machining) required.
• Hands-on mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience with capital equipment projects, contractor coordination, and equipment installation.
• Process design, improvement, and verification experience.
• Preventive maintenance planning experience and uptime optimization.
• Proficiency with CAD and advanced Excel; knowledge of APQP is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee manufacturing projects and support new equipment, automation, and processes in the plant.
• Collaborate with engineering and automation teams from design through installation and handoff.
• Train production staff on new equipment and ensure operational readiness.
• Support new product launches; drive preventative maintenance improvements and RCA/FMEA.
• Lead equipment installations, plant layout/expansion, and safety/quality improvements.
