Job summary

JLL is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation control systems for industrial processes and warehouse equipment in Beloit, WI. You will serve as the site technical expert for automation, mentor apprentices, and work with operations and engineering teams to optimize MHE systems and deliver projects.

The role requires a 4-year degree or equivalent, strong English communication, and a track record of handling complex maintenance with CMMS tools.

Qualifications

Requires a 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
Able to lead, train, and mentor automation engineers.
Proficient with CMMS, troubleshooting, and coordinating maintenance with multiple stakeholders.
Strong English communication, both written and verbal.
Demonstrates problem solving, adaptability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement automation control systems for industrial processes and warehouse equipment.
Design, develop, implement, and optimize control systems and software; maintain equipment and troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers and networks.
Follow documentation and Automation Change Management procedures.
