Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for a highly automated food manufacturing facility in Walworth, WI. The role focuses on electrical, instrumentation, and process control systems, with emphasis on troubleshooting and maintaining 480V systems and related equipment.

The candidate will read schematics, P&IDs, loop drawings, and work with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs. Shifts include 2:30pm-11:00pm and 11:00pm-7:30am; Wage ranges from $35.00 to $45.00 per

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant industrial maintenance, instrumentation, electrical, or process controls experience; formal education may be substituted.
• Experience in automated manufacturing or food processing environment preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities; capable of diagnosing and resolving failures.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, instrumentation, and process control systems.
• Troubleshoot 480V electrical systems and related equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, P&IDs, and loop drawings.
• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Document maintenance activities and contribute to maintenance procedures.
• Assist with root cause analysis and inventory management for parts.
• Coordinate activities with operations, contractors, and other plant personnel.
