Engineered Wire in Camden, NY is seeking an Industrial Electrical Controls Engineer to design, program, commission, and support automated manufacturing equipment across operations. The role requires hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, and electrical control systems, and the ability to manage multiple projects from design through startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant electrical controls, automation, or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting PLC and HMI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical and machine control systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Size and select VFDs, motors, PLCs, HMIs, and other control components.
• Develop and maintain electrical drawings and control system documentation using AutoCAD.
• Program, test, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, drives, and control systems.
• Support equipment startup through full production readiness.
