Job summary

Badger Infrastructure Solutions is seeking an Industrial Assistant Operator to operate high-pressure pumps, hydro-blasting systems, and vacuum units for manual cleaning and maintenance on tank equipment and facility components. You will work in heavy industrial environments with safety procedures and PPE usage.

We emphasize attention to detail, safety, and readiness to travel for site work; compensation is commensurate with experience and education.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods.
  • Ability to follow training and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate cleaning equipment per guidelines.
  • Operate high-pressure pumps, hydro-blasting systems, and vacuum units.
  • Complete safety paperwork and PPE compliance.
  • Work around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, industrial settings.
  • Perform maintenance on valves, hoses, pumps, gaskets and other tank equipment.
  • Assist in inspections and report deficiencies to the supervisor.

  • Completes all safety paperwork and complies with all operational training, guidelines, and operational procedures including the use of personal protective equipment
  • Works safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heavy industrial settings (i.e. refineries, Power plants, etc.).
  • Performs manual cleaning and maintenance tasks, such as installing, fitting, and repairing valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and other tank equipment.
  • Assists in equipment inspections and ensure the work area is safe before starting any job, reporting any deficiencies to the supervisor.
