$6,000 Sign-on Bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3rd Shift: 10:00pm - 6:30am

Pay: $21.00 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential

Job Summary

The Plant Maintenance Technician Assistant works under direct supervision, performing limited preventive maintenance, completing minor repairs, and assisting in major repairs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform repairs following Waste Management Safety and OSHA standards.
• Assist in repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment functions properly.
• Support technicians in adjustments, repairs, or replacements of equipment such as balers, conveyor belts, gearboxes, motors, shafts, rollers, and bearings.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Support a flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends as needed.

Work Environment

Requires physical activity including pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting objects over a certain weight, working from ladders, and standing most of the day. Exposure to dirt, noise, weather, and other environmental elements is typical.
