Job summary

The Brock Group Inc. is seeking an Asbestos Removal Worker to perform removal, packing, transporting and disposal of asbestos under minimal supervision at the Phillips 66 Lake Charles Refinery in Westlake, LA.

This full-time on-site role requires adherence to safety procedures and use of PPE. You will seal off work areas, decontaminate, and follow disposal procedures while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with asbestos under supervision and follow safety procedures.
• Wears protective equipment and respirator as required.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and work on elevated structures safely.

Responsibilities

• Promote Brock’s safety culture and ensure compliance with site rules.
• Seal off work areas with plastic sheeting and duct tape.
• Position mobile decontamination and connect to showers.
• Builds walkway connections between showers and work areas.
• Remove and dispose of asbestos following proper procedures.
• Operate PPE and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow disposal procedures and minimize fiber release.
