HDR, a leading architecture and engineering firm, seeks an Industrial Architecture Team Lead in Minnesota. You will oversee production operations, staff development, and cross-studio coordination to deliver complex projects.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, morale, and marketing support.
• Take administrative responsibility for studio staff, including managing team utilization and balancing project workloads with other studios.
• Lead and coordinate services with other local and national studios and engineering groups.
• Ensure work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management.
• Implement, monitor and support company policy.
• Select, train, develop and manage studio staff.
• Manage and develop multidiscipline teams.
• Collaborate with Managing Principal, Project Managers and studio leaders on staffing.
• Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of Industrial Architecture Team Lead, we'll count on you to:

• Take responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, morale, and marketing support
• Take administrative responsibility for studio staff, including managing team utilization and balancing project workloads both within the area and in coordination with national industrial architecture studios
• Lead and coordinate services with other local studios, national industrial architecture studios, and engineering business groups
• See that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management system
• Implement, monitor and support company policy
• Select, train, develop and manage studio staff
• Manage and develop multidiscipline teams
• Work cooperatively with Managing Principal, Project Managers, and other studio leaders on project staffing
• Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years experience in similar project types, such as mission critical facilities, data centers, advanced manufacturing, water treatment, maintenance facilities, or similar
