Job summary

S&ME, Inc. seeks an entrepreneurial Practice Leader to grow the Industrial & Data Centers market. You will shape strategy, identify opportunities, expand client relationships, and lead high-performing teams across environmental, civil, geotechnical, and testing services.

Based in and around S&ME offices, this full-time role emphasizes growth, collaboration, and delivering excellent client outcomes while maintaining safety and integrity in project execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in project/program or market leadership roles.
• Proven success driving revenue growth within Industrial, Data Centers, or related markets.
• Strong network and client relationships across local to national levels.
• Professional licensure (PE/PG) is a plus; PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the Industrial/Data Centers market that aligns with company goals.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve revenue targets within the market for services (environmental, civil, geotechnical engineering and testing).
• Establish and grow key client relationships at local, regional, and national levels; expand existing client relationships.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions and foster collaboration, accountability, and growth.
• Deliver projects with a focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction and stay ahead of market trends.

The Industrial & Data Center market segment is part of S&ME's Business Growth Team, where we utilize our life cycle approach, providing our core services of environmental, civil, and geotechnical engineering, along with construction materials testing services and special inspections, to support our industrial and private clients.

What You Will Do:

• Drive Growth and Market Expansion
  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the Industrial/Data Centers market that aligns with company initiatives and goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve and exceed revenue targets within the market for our key services: environmental, civil, and geotechnical engineering, along with construction materials testing services and special inspections.
• Build Relationships that Matter
  • Establish and grow key client relationships at local, regional, and national levels within the market
  • Collaborate with local operations and expand existing client relationships
  • Leverage your network and industry presence to position S&ME as a trusted partner for each of our service lines
  • Deliver exceptional client experiences that lead to repeat business and long-term partnerships
• Lead, Build, and Inspire Teams
  • Partner with internal leaders to build the team, capabilities, and resources needed to scale
  • Mentor and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions

What We Are Looking For:

• Proven success driving revenue growth of our core services (geotechnical, environmental, civil and construction materials testing/special inspections) within Industrial, Data Centers, or similar markets
• Strong network and client relationships within the industrial and./or data center industry
• 10+ years of progressive experience in project/program or market leadership roles
• You have a proven track record of winning and delivering opportunities for multiple clients within the Industrial and Data Center market
• Relevant professional licensure (PE/PG or equivalent) is a plus.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
