Job summary

Cuisine Solutions is seeking an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to operate, test and repair our ammonia refrigeration systems. The role requires hands-on experience with industrial refrigeration, and maintenance of associated subsystems and equipment.

The candidate must hold EPA Type II and ammonia certifications (GCAP/RETA) and complete hazmat and respirator fitness tests. Responsibilities include documentation, safety adherence, and daily system rounds.

Qualifications

• 2 years ammonia refrigeration experience in industrial refrigeration environment.
• Must pass respirator fit test and pulmonary function test plus 24-hour hazmat class.
• Must have Ammonia Certification from GCAP or RETA.
• Must have EPA Type II certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate, test, troubleshoot and repair the ammonia refrigeration system and related subsystems.
• Perform planned maintenance on ammonia refrigeration and utility systems.
• Experience with spiral freezers is a plus.
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance and system notes as required by management.
• Adhere to safety, GMPs and SOPs while conducting daily rounds and inspections.
