Job summary

Cuisine Solutions is seeking an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to join our global team in our Sterling, VA facility. You will operate, test, troubleshoot, and repair ammonia refrigeration systems, ensuring safe and efficient production.

The role requires two years of industrial refrigeration experience, OSHA hazmat training, and EPA Type II and GCAP/RETA ammonia certifications. Strong teamwork and adherence to GMPs and SOPs are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years ammonia refrigeration experience in an industrial refrigeration environment.
• Must be able to pass respirator fit test and Pulmonary function test as well as 24-hour hazmat class.
• Must have Ammonia Certification from GCAP or RETA.
• Must have EPA Type II certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate, test, troubleshoot and repair ammonia refrigeration systems and related equipment.
• Perform planned maintenance on ammonia refrigeration and utility systems.
• Maintain ammonia system records and documentation per SOPs and GMPs.
• Adhere to safety policies, LOCKOUT/TAGOUT, GMPs and PSM regulations.
• Daily rounds of temperatures and condition of ammonia system.
