Job summary

The position emphasizes adherence to GMPs, SOPs, and plant rules, with a focus on reliable systems support and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years Industrial refrigeration/HVAC experience.
• Knowledge of basic industrial electricity and utilities.
• Ammonia operator 1 certification a plus.
• Boiler/steam systems experience a plus.
• Compressed air and potable water systems experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Opens valves on equipment and starts systems.
• Observes readings and adjusts controls to meet specs.
• Records readings on log sheets at intervals.
• Inspects equipment and systems for condition and repairs.
• Repacks pumps and compressors, cleans condensers, and replaces parts.
• Work as a team to meet product specs safely and efficiently; communicate with team.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, Plant Rules and Policies.
• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Satisfy internal and external customer requirements.
• Keep work area clean.
• Other duties may be assigned.
