Job summary

Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician in New Braunfels, Texas to support customers with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial air compressor systems and related equipment.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a hands-on technician with a strong mechanical and electrical background. You will diagnose, service, and repair compressors, perform preventative maintenance, and travel within the assigned territory as needed.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on industrial air compressor service and repair experience.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation.
Experience with diesel-powered compressors is a plus.
Oilfield or industrial field-service experience is highly preferred.
Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, service, and repair industrial air compressors and associated equipment.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
Travel throughout the assigned territory and occasional overnight stays.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment drawings.
Complete service documentation and paperwork accurately each day.
