Job summary

You will bridge raw telematics data from CAN bus/Modbus systems to actionable business insights, automating reporting and alerts to drive predictive maintenance and efficiency. The role emphasizes predictive maintenance, fleet optimization, and operational safety, with a focus on reducing downtime and fuel consumption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Domain knowledge in heavy civil construction or mining industries is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills to explain technical results to non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop and refine AI/ML models to identify anomalies in equipment performance and predict failures.
• Analyze machine utilization and idle time to optimize asset allocation and reduce costs.
• Use AI to flag risky operator behaviors and automate regulatory reporting (OSHA).
• Monitor fuel consumption patterns to drive efficiency and achieve reductions.

Responsibilities

• Predictive Maintenance & Diagnostics: analyze sensor data to predict failures and reduce downtime.
• Telematics & Data Engineering: extract and analyze data from CAN bus, Modbus, GPS to monitor fleet health and location.
• Performance Optimization: develop AI/ML models to improve fuel efficiency and workflows.
• Automated Alerting & Reporting: create dashboards and real-time alerts for critical issues.
• Operational Safety: identify unsafe operator behavior and ensure regulatory compliance.
