Job summary

MaintainX is seeking a Senior Applied Machine Learning Developer to guide the technical direction of our Predictive Maintenance and Asset Intelligence initiatives. You will mentor developers, scale systems, and shape the AI roadmap across thousands of industrial sites.

You’ll blend deep ML expertise with software leadership, working on data ingestion, model training, deployment, and monitoring, while ensuring production-grade latency, reliability, and security.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Machine Learning, Data Science, or Applied AI.
• Strong Python and ML stack experience.
• Proven production ML deployment at scale.
• LLMs, time-series, and anomaly detection expertise.
• Leadership and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead predictive maintenance and anomaly detection directions.
• Architect end-to-end ML systems from data to deployment.
• Mentor ML and data developers.
• Align AI roadmap with product and customer needs.
• Design data feedback loops to retrain models.
• Drive performance optimization with quantization and distillation.
• Work with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face for AI workflows.
• Ensure production ML infra latency, reliability, security.
