Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time in Shippingport, PA. You will serve and safeguard clients across industries, manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitors, and maintain access logs while delivering professional customer service.

This full‑time role features 5:00AM–1:00PM, 1:00PM–9:00PM, or 9:00PM–5:00AM shifts with a 40‑hour schedule and two days off per week.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Backgrounds considered in compliance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel per site access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, issue passes, and maintain access logs.
• Screen deliveries, vehicles, tools, and materials per site procedures and direct authorized personnel.
• Respond calmly to access-control concerns and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and parking areas to deter unauthorized entry.
