Job summary

Ambrell Induction Heating Solutions in Rochester, NY seeks a skilled machinist to operate vertical mills, lathes, band saws and drills for production and prototype work. You will maintain equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and contribute to the fabrication of busswork for RF induction heating systems.

The role requires the ability to read schematics/blueprints, build and repair coils, machine parts, and inspect outsourced components while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Machining Certificate or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Manual Vertical Mill, lathe, band saws, grinder and drill press for production and prototype work.
• Maintain equipment condition and perform preventative maintenance for safety and operation.
• Manufacture and fabrication of busswork for internal production of RF induction heating systems.
• Build & repair coils for new and repair orders.
• Machine parts for production runs and prototype work.
• Incoming mechanical inspection on outsourced parts.
• Assist and train employees on equipment.
• Manufacture and fabrication of custom induction coil assemblies (primarily copper).
