Job summary

Oishii is seeking a dedicated Shift Manager for our Phillipsburg, NJ production and packaging operations. You will lead teams across farms and shifts, drive KPIs, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with maintenance and other departments to keep operations efficient and compliant.

You will spend most of your time in the farm/pack environment, coaching staff, ensuring food safety practices, and resolving issues as they arise to maintain high yield and productivity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in farming/production/manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of progressive management experience leading operations teams.
• Experience using real-time reporting to improve productivity, quality, yield and cost metrics.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices (GMP/HACCP); related certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive Production KPIs such as speed, bruise rate, cost reduction, and yield.
• Operate and troubleshoot farming/packaging technologies.
• Analyze real-time data to guide decisions.
• Ensure safety guidelines and sanitation adherence.
• Communicate clearly with associates and cross-functional partners.
• Coordinate with maintenance for cohesive operations.
• Understand and enforce food safety policies and maintain documentation.
• Direct and coach team members and manage staffing levels.
