Municipality of Anchorage is seeking an Indoor Recreation Specialist II for Fairview Recreation Center in Anchorage, AK. The role involves delivering recreation activities and events, supervising entry-level staff, and ensuring a clean, safe facility.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, First Aid and CPR certifications, and a valid Alaska driver’s license with a clean driving history. A background check is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year experience in the program or activity under consideration.
• First Aid Certification and CPR required at time of hire.
• Valid Alaska Driver’s License with acceptable driving record at time of hire.
• Satisfactory completion of a national background investigation at time of hire.

Responsabilités

• Under supervision, leads entry-level facility staff and delivers recreation activities and events; monitors participant behavior and maintains a clean facility.
• This position has greater accountability and decision-making latitude than a Recreation Specialist I.
