Job summary

Mhs PA is seeking an Indoor Percussion 1st Assistant for the winter indoor percussion season. The assistant must have strong skills in both battery and mallet instruments. Responsibilities include recruitment and organization of the percussion group, weekly rehearsals, and small group instruction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with percussion experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in music (Percussion specialist) preferred.
• Strong marching band / drum corps experience preferred.
• Two or more years of teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with students of different ages and skill levels in a positive manner.
