Job summary

aerīz is seeking a full-time Flower Technician for our state-of-the-art indoor aeroponic cannabis production facility in Riverbank, CA. The ideal candidate loves horticulture, has leadership experience, cannabis knowledge, and a hands-on approach to ensure strains are grown properly and issues are resolved.

You will report to the Flower Lead Technician, work on-site in Riverbank, and contribute to high-quality cannabis products while following cultivation plans and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proven experience as a grower at a large-scale cultivation facility preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis growth cycle and requirements preferred.
• Understanding of pest and disease management techniques preferred.
• Problem-solving aptitude.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Ability to take direction from lead and/or manager.
• A minimum of 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Follow cultivation plans outlined by the lead and/or manager.
• Perform daily process of transplanting, cloning, defoliation and trimming of plants.
• Perform maintenance operations (including disposing waste and preventing contaminations).
• Identify plant health issues like mold, mildew or other pest infestations.
• Follow and maintain legal compliance of cultivation procedures.
• Maintain all plants in flower stage.
• Routinely use scissors, shears, for performing plant maintenance such as defoliation, and plant clean up.
• Perform other cultivation tasks as lead and/or manager determines necessary.
