Job summary

Mercor is hiring proficient bilingual speakers (English & Indonesian) to help make advanced AI models safer. You will write expert-level prompts in Indonesian and apply guidelines to classify prompts and conversations. No prior AI/ML experience is required—we will train you on the workflow.

Start date is immediate. This is a part-time role (~7 hours per week) based in the United States, with a focus on written reasoning and careful judgment around sensitive content.

Qualifications

• Indonesian fluency is required.
• Business English proficiency is required.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Clear written reasoning ability is required.
• Sound judgment around sensitive and dual-use information.

Responsibilities

• Write expert-level prompts in Indonesian across sensitive topics.
• Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
• Flag adversarial phrasings and escalation patterns, and document the reasoning behind judgments.
