Job summary

Prolific is seeking Fluent Indonesian speakers from Indonesia to act as evaluators. AI models are learning to understand nuance and emotion; your role is to ensure the models capture Indonesian sentiment and cultural context.

You will review Indonesian audio clips, assess how well the model conveys emotions and tone, and identify cultural mismatches. This fast-paced project offers up to $24/hr for one-hour tasks, with many tasks shorter and work-from-home options.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Indonesian and origin from Indonesia is required.
• Ability to distinguish subtle shifts in sentiment and vocal delivery.
• Fluent English for instruction following and reporting.
• High emotional intelligence; backgrounds in acting, therapy, or linguistics are a plus.
• Access to a quiet environment and high-quality audio equipment (headphones/speakers).

Responsibilities

• Audio Localization: review Indonesian audio clips generated by or for AI models.
• Sentiment Analysis: assess the model’s ability to convey specific emotions, intonations, and feelings.
• Quality Control: identify where the AI’s tone feels unnatural or culturally mismatched.
• Audio Assessment: listen to AI-generated audio to verify human-like quality.
• Contextual Review: ensure intonation matches Indonesian cultural context of the conversation.
