Handling tax in such a large, sophisticated organization requires more than just technical knowledge of current tax practices. As a Sales and Use Tax Manager, you will apply your knowledge across various tax areas and processes, devising strategic solutions to complex issues. Your Key Responsibilities

As a Sales and Use Tax Manager, your days will be diverse, working on various projects and responsibilities. You will provide clients with up-to-date tax advice, working in a collaborative environment where sharing information is essential.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • Knowledge of sales and use tax processes, concepts, and tools
  • Experience managing budgets, teams, and projects
  • Proven excellence in a professional services or tax organization
  • Research and technical writing experience in tax
  • Ability to prioritize multiple complex projects
  • Strong influencing skills and confidence to challenge existing processes
  • Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid environment

You’ll also have

  • CPA qualification, membership in the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, CMI designation, or a state bar membership
