Job summary

Geneva Search Partners LLC in Chicago seeks a US Indirect Tax Associate to support sales and use tax, VAT, and other indirect tax activities in a hybrid office setting.

You’ll work with experienced tax professionals, handle filings, research regulations, and help identify process improvements while building strong US indirect tax expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field.
• 1+ year experience with US indirect tax, sales/use tax.
• CPA, MST or tax certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support US sales and use tax, VAT, and other indirect tax compliance activities.
• Assist with tax filings, reconciliations, research, and audits.
• Research and interpret state and local indirect tax regulations.
• Help identify process improvements and tax efficiencies.
• Partner with internal teams and external advisors on indirect tax matters.
