Requirements

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist, Indirect manages a portfolio of indirect categories and projects. Responsibilities include establishing relationships with senior leaders, developing sourcing strategies, partnering with global and regional teams, establishing long-term agreements, and advising on sourcing projects. Categories include Marketing Services, IT, Consulting, Financial Services, HR, Travel, Fleet, and others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate sourcing initiatives, develop category strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and lead business reviews.
• Build relationships with internal teams including Programs, Marketing, Finance, HR, IT, and Legal.
• Ensure proper purchasing procedures are followed and communicate policy changes.
• Report monthly on savings, value analysis, and negotiations.
• Implement annual savings programs and assist in budget planning.
• Source and qualify suppliers, including site visits and evaluations.
• Maintain detailed supplier information and analyze market conditions.
• Evaluate suppliers regularly to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Maintain nonproductive resources and update SAP/PRISM data.
• Coordinate with North American purchasing and manage schedule deadlines.
• Travel up to 25% monthly; extended hours may be required.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Minimum 2 years purchasing experience, preferably in indirect categories.
• Experience in CPG industry preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Project management, negotiation, presentation skills.
• Data analysis and leadership presentation ability.
• Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
• Team motivation and adaptability skills.

Salary: $89,000.00 - $120,000.00
