About this role

Access Solutions is recruiting for an Indirect Procurement Specialist. This experienced procurement professional will be responsible for executing processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement goals, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and/or program execution. Authorizes purchase orders, approves payments, and responds to client issues to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly.

This is a hybrid role of someone based out of Salem OR or Pittsford NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute processes, standards, and operational plans in support of procurement goals, i.e., RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and/or program execution
• Approve and qualify vendors to fulfill account needs
• Respond to client issues or problems
• Authorize purchase orders and approve payments to ensure a smooth procurement process
• Analyze and review price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices
• Prepare and review requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages
• Analyze and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years plus experience in indirect or direct procurement
