Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience with procurement lifecycle and best practices.
• Experience negotiating and developing/executing sourcing strategies.
• Ability to collaborate with internal/external resources to meet goals within budget and timelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Willing to travel up to 10% (within state and out of state).

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day supplier relations and seeks opportunities to grow or revise the supplier base.
• Under Category Manager, develops and executes category sourcing strategies and conducts supplier negotiations.
• Assists with development and implementation of business plans, goals, and metrics for each category.
• Collaborates on inventory control and project management of sourcing activities.
• Drives tracking and reporting for spend areas and analyzes data to support decisions.
• Participates in weekly category review meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Supports achieving Savings goals and balance of spend portfolio across streams.
• Monitors supplier performance to ensure delivery dates and requirements are met.
• Mentors and communicates clearly to maintain team morale.
