Job summary

Pall Corporation is seeking an Indirect Category Manager to develop and execute category strategies for Facility & Equipment Services and CAPEX globally. This role supports sourcing of facility services and CAPEX projects across sites.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Global Indirect Sourcing, the role can be located at Deland, FL or Cortland, NY, or remotely within a reasonable commuting distance of either site. The position offers bonus eligibility and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3+ years of experience; OR 5+ years with no degree in Sourcing, Purchasing, or SRM.
• 3+ years indirect/direct sourcing & procurement in a global manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years category management for facility services and CAPEX projects.
• 3+ years contracting including drafting, redlining, negotiating with vendors.
• 3+ years of data analytics in a supply chain capacity.

Responsibilities

Indirect Category Manager

The Indirect Category Manager is responsible for developing and executing the category strategy for Facility & Equipment Services + Facility CAPEX globally for Pall. This role supports the sourcing and procurement of facility services such as equipment preventative maintenance, security services, EHS related services, janitorial and groundskeeping, and supports facility CAPEX projects including new machinery/equipment, office upgrades, expansions, and space redesigns.

This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Global Indirect Sourcing and is part of the Strategic Sourcing team under the Global Integrated Supply Chain organization. The role can be located at our Deland, FL or Cortland, NY sites, or remotely within a reasonable commuting distance of either location.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Lead strategy development for in-scope categories
• Partner with global stakeholders to implement and execute category strategies
• Identify cost savings and working capital improvement opportunities
• Work cross-functionally with Facilities, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and others throughout project identification & execution
• Solve problems and champion continuous process improvements for in-scope categories and throughout the business

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred, with 3+ years of experience; OR no degree with 5+ years of experience in Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supplier Relationship Management
• 3+ years of Indirect or Direct Sourcing & Procurement experience in a global manufacturing environment - Indirect strongly preferred
• 3+ years of Category Management experience with Facility & Equipment Services, and Facility CAPEX projects
• 3+ years of Contracting experience including drafting, redlining, and negotiating with vendors and supplier relationship management
• 3+ years of Data Analytics experience in a Supply Chain related capacity, e.g. performing spend analysis for in-scope category management

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically & internationally, subject to business requirements

Preferred Additional Experience

• SAP 4HANA or similar ERP system within Supply Chain related role(s)
• Supply Chain transformation initiative(s)
• Change Management, especially with internal cross-functional stakeholders and leadership

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this role is $90,000-$110,000. This range may be modified in the future. The job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
